What is the best time to visit Djerba?
For those looking for the atmosphere and the Fiesta, it is best to come between mid June and September. For those seeking discovery, sightseeing and wishing to discover local life, the best periods are March-April and October-November. During these two periods, the weather is pleasant (20 to 30 °) and especially allowing to go out and discover and visit the desert. |

This walk takes place in a few nautical centers (not all). It is done by boat (27 euros for 1h30 and 50 euros for the 3h30 outing with meal) or by Jet Ski (106 euros for 1h30 and 190 euros for the 3h30 outing with meal). The chance of seeing dolphins is 1/3. In general, once in the open sea, the dolphins listen to the sound of the engine and it is they who come looking for you. It is indeed forbidden to bathe with them but possible to touch them only if they approach you. Excursion to Ksar Ghilane
During the 2-day Ksar Ghilane excursion you will spend the night in a Berber tent in a camp. In general it is the PARADIS camp but there are VIP outings where clients choose to spend the night at PANSEA (a very luxurious and air-conditioned 4 * camp). The hot spring is only 10 meters from the Camp and it is free, do not forget your swimsuits and your sunscreen. For camel rides it is also done near the source, it is optional and paid on site at 10 euros for 1 hour. Excursions to do?
In Djerba, there are several essential outings. There are desert trips: Tataouine-cheneni, Ksar Ghilane, Matmata-douz and Tozeur. The best of the desert excursions remains that of Ksar Ghilane 2 days with a night in a Berber tent. There are also sea trips such as The pirate ship, the trip in search of dolphins (by boat or Jet) and scuba diving There are quad and buggy rides that allow you to discover the corners authentic of Djerba: Palm trees, olive trees, cacti, goats, horses, donkeys ... etc. There are the tours of the island which also allow visitors to discover the island and its surroundings such as the pottery village of Guellala, the museums , the synagogue and town centers. There are also other activities such as parachuting, kite surfing, water sports ... etc. |

Taxis in Djerba are yellow cars, at the start when you get in the driver starts his meter which generally starts with 400 millimes or 20 euro cents. You pay the price displayed on the taxi when you arrive at your destination. In the evening there is an increase of 50%, so the price to pay goes up from 21 p.m. |

Villas with pools in Djerba are plentiful and easy to find. Most of them are towards the side of TEZDAINE, it is a bit of the countryside, an authentic and calm setting. It is 800 meters from a great beach called the BLUE LAGOON. The prices differ from one villa to another but in general it is between 200 and 450 dinars per day (100 and 225 euros). |
